We’re seeking an experienced Assistant National Operations Manager to support our operations.
**The role**
------------
Working closely with the National Operations Manager, you will:
* Coordinate freight, labour and equipment to meet daily customer requirements * Support and lead operations employees across the Mildura depot * Monitor KPIs, costs, service levels and equipment utilisation * Manage performance, training and workforce requirements * Work with the workshop, warehouse and yard teams to maintain operational continuity * Ensure compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility and quality requirements * Step into key operational roles during planned and unplanned leave * Identify and drive continuous improvement across transport operations

* At least five years’ transport industry experience in a similar role * Demonstrated people\-management and leadership experience * Strong operational, customer\-service and problem\-solving skills * Sound knowledge of transport safety and compliance requirements * Clear written and verbal communication skills * Strong computer skills and attention to detail
