Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Frontend Technical Lead with strong expertise in React.js and Node.js to drive the development of scalable, high-performance digital commerce applications for a leading beauty retail client. The role requires strong technical leadership, client engagement, and onsite–offshore coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead frontend design, architecture, and development using React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Drive technical decisions, code reviews, performance optimization, and best practices.
- Develop reusable UI components and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Coordinate with offshore teams, resolve technical blockers, and ensure quality delivery.
- Support eCommerce journeys including product discovery, cart, checkout, and personalization.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Redux, React Hooks, REST APIs, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and security.
- Experience with Agile, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Proven technical leadership and excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Experience working in onsite–offshore delivery models.
Good to Have
- Experience with Next.js, GraphQL, and micro-frontends.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience in retail/eCommerce, preferably beauty or luxury retail.
- Knowledge of headless commerce and platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Adobe Commerce.
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on technical lead with strong React.js and Node.js expertise, capable of independently managing client technical discussions and driving delivery with offshore engineering teams.
