My client based in Cape Town is currently looking for a Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis.
IT / FINANCE
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables.
- Establish project scope, objectives and critical paths.
- Coordinate resources, assign tasks and manage cross-functional teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Organise project meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Manage project scope changes and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain project schedules, reports and relevant documentation.
- Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope and timelines.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Project Management or a related field.
- 3-6 years of proven experience in project management.
- Project Management certification would be advantageous.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and execution.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira and Excel.
- Experience identifying and managing project risks, issues and scope changes.
