About This Opportunity
We are building a custom, full-suite enterprise ERP platform (CRM, HRMS, and core operational tools) from the ground up, and we are looking for a Junior Developer to join our core team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role with structured mentorship from a Senior Architect/Lead. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, you will ship production features, learn scalable system design, and accelerate your transition from a junior to a mid-level developer.
What You’ll Do
- Feature Development: Build and implement CRM and HRMS modules from detailed technical specifications.
- Maintenance & Support: Maintain existing internal tools and resolve bugs on live modules so senior engineers can focus on core architecture.
- Code Quality & Testing: Write clean unit test cases, participate in code reviews, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Engineering Growth: Shadow senior developers to learn relational database optimization, system architecture, and production engineering practices.
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Core Tech Stack: Practical experience with TypeScript, Next.js, React, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Backend & Databases: Solid understanding of building and consuming REST APIs using Node.js or Bun with Express or Hono, alongside database experience in PostgreSQL and Prisma.
- DevOps Basics: Understanding of Docker for local development environments and containerized setups.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git fundamentals (branching, PRs, and resolving merge conflicts).
- Engineering Mindset: Proactive communicator who seeks clarity early, learns continuously, and ships responsible, well-tested code without relying uncritically on AI tools.
Good to Have
- Linux: Basic command-line fluency and shell environment navigation.
- AWS: Conceptual understanding of cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS).
- Projects: A GitHub repository, personal project, or capstone application demonstrating an end-to-end web UI connected to a database.
