Job Description:
- Lead a team of strategists to develop hypotheses, structure analyses, find problems and design solutions that improve sorting center cost, speed and capacity, then stay with each solution until it shows up in the numbers
- Work hands-on with large operational datasets in SQL and other analytics tools to find insights and gaps within and around sorting center operations, down to the individual parcel, worker and hour
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to own and drive projects independently, enable the team to do the same, and raise blockers, risks and dependencies early
- Own the sorting centers’ cost base, managing a large budget from forecasting and peak campaign planning through monthly tracking and post-mortems
- Prepare and present insights to senior management regularly
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent proven quantitative experience; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus but not required
- 3+ years in strategy or management consulting, corporate strategy, strategy and operations, strategic planning, data analytics, business intelligence or a related field, with recommendations that were put into practice and moved a metric
- Ideally 1+ year managing a small, high-performing team on strategic projects
- Strong SQL and at least one other analytics tool (Python, R, Tableau, Power BI); comfortable with datasets too large for spreadsheets, and with statistical techniques such as forecasting and regression
- Experience in a highly operational field is a strong plus, as the work needs a deep technical understanding of complex operations
- Professional working proficiency in Thai and English, written and spoken, with both frontline operators and senior executives
