Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer / Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing concepts and a passion for identifying bugs and improving product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications
- Identify, report, and track bugs using testing tools
- Prepare and execute test cases and test plans
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues
- Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing
- Ensure software meets quality standards before release
- Maintain testing documentation and reports
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of software testing concepts
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, TestNG)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Basic understanding of API testing (Postman)
- Knowledge of database testing (SQL)
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech / B.E / MCA / BCA or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in software testing
- Freshers with strong testing knowledge can apply
