Job Highlights
To provide daily production support on the technical issue related to spraying process and polishing process, yield improvement, process efficiency improvement and champion in house activities compliance to ISO14001, IATF16949:2016 and VDA6.3 requirements to achieve Total Customer Satisfaction.
Responsibilities
-
Report directly to the Production Manager.

Apply lessons learnt from Product recalls, product audits, field returns, complaints, scrap and rework.

Fine tune process to ensure conforms to targeted yield and output during mass production.
Evaluate process change using Risk-Based Thinking with proper validation to ensure product quality is not compromised

Top priority to attend the ad-hoc quality issue in the daily production.

Continuously drive the yield improvement activities with production to meet the target yield as per KPI.

Ensure production technicians carry out Jig and Fixture preventive maintenance as per schedule.

Ensure proper spare parts control as per procedure, to minimize the Jig & Fixture or machine downtime.

Review and continuously improve production and workflow processes for cycle time reduction.
Ensure conformance of all products and processes to all applicable customers, statutory and regulatory requirements as well as QEHS management system requirements.

Follow up specific task assigned by Production Manager.

Ensure a strong 5S culture by embedding it into daily routines and work practices.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering
- Knowledge of lacquering process
- Min 1 year of relevant experience
- Certified in plastic related, plastic injection machine
- Well versed in IATF16949 & ISO14001
- Knowledge of VDA6.3 is an added advantage
