The Production Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing operations to ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and reliable production of TRI-K products. This role owns production performance against quantity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives and provides leadership to the production organization. Key responsibilities include workforce leadership and development, production planning and scheduling, manufacturing SOP and GMP discipline, inventory coordination, equipment reliability, performance management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. The Production Manager partners with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Process Excellence to ensure customer requirements and business objectives are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead overall production operations to ensure the efficient and timely manufacture of TRI-K products.
  • Own execution of the production plan and ensure quantity, quality, safety, delivery, and cost KPIs are achieved.
  • Monitor and manage production performance using key KPIs, including FPQ, OTIF, cost per kg, yield, and batch cycle-time; identify performance gaps and lead corrective actions.
  • Ensure all production activities are completed in accordance with GMP principles, manufacturing SOPs, equipment hygiene requirements, quality standards, and integrity protocols.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Production Team, including Production Supervisors, Shift Team Leads, and Operators. Oversee onboarding, training, performance management, accountability, and succession/development planning.
  • Own bi-weekly and monthly production scheduling and capacity planning to support customer service expectations, inventory targets, and business deadlines.
  • Coordinate with Quality and supply/inventory functions to ensure raw materials are staged and released in alignment with the production schedule.
  • Provide oversight of equipment performance and production reliability. Ensure equipment issues are escalated and resolved in partnership with Maintenance and third-party resources, and work with the Operations Director and Maintenance to manage critical and long-lead spare requirements.
  • Ensure required PPE and safety protocols are consistently followed. Partner with Process Excellence to identify potential hazards, strengthen safety controls, and support emergency response preparedness.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, yield, cycle time, cost, safety, or reliability.
  • Analyze production trends and operational constraints, establish priorities, and implement actions that support stable and predictable manufacturing performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Process Excellence, and other teams to resolve production issues and support site objectives.
  • Prepare and present production reports, KPI updates, risks, resource needs, and improvement priorities to the Operations Director.
  • Support production budgeting, staffing, resource planning, and cost-control efforts within the manufacturing function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, including leadership responsibility in a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, GMP requirements, quality protocols, and safety practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold production teams accountable for performance.
  • Experience managing production schedules, operational KPIs, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Quality, Maintenance, Operations, and other functions.
  • Passion for continuous improvement, operational discipline, and attention to detail.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
