Accountant / Junior Financial Manager required for well-established company based on the East Rand.
Requirements:
- Must be available immediately or with a short notice period Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
- Completed SAICA articles advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset accounting.
- Experience with Sage One Accounting.
- Knowledge of import and export regulations and procedures is essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end processes and financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
- Maintain financial controls, governance and statutory compliance.
- Manage fixed assets and capital expenditure.
- Support audits and statutory reporting.
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
