Well-established Engineering company based in Lanseria is seeking an experienced Financial Manager / Accountant to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
- Minimum 4 years' accounting experience.
- Experience on Sage Pastel Partner/Xpress and Sage Pastel Payroll.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Previous staff management experience is advantageous.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
Duties:
- Full accounting function.
- Cashbook, creditors and debtors.
- General ledger, journals and trial balance.
- Prepare management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
- VAT, SARS submissions and statutory compliance.
- Year-end audit preparation and support.
- Job costing and profitability analysis.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Process monthly payroll using Sage Pastel Payroll.
- Supervise the Secretary and Job Costing Administrator.
