Job Description:### Job Title
Quality Analyst Executive – Quality Engineering (Insurance – Functional Testing)
Role Summary
We are seeking a Quality Analyst Executive to support quality assurance activities by executing test cases and validating business workflows in Insurance applications. This is an entry-level role designed for individuals starting their careers in QA, with exposure to functional, end-to-end (E2E), and integration testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases for functional and business workflow validation
- Assist in validating end-to-end (E2E) scenarios across insurance processes
- Support integration testing by verifying data flow across systems and APIs
- Identify and report defects with proper documentation and evidence
- Assist in test data setup and environment preparation
- Work closely with senior team members to understand requirements and testing scope
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint testing activities)
- Maintain test execution reports and basic documentation
- Support regression testing cycles
Domain Exposure (Good to Have)
- Basic understanding or academic exposure to:
- Insurance concepts (Policy, Claims, Billing)
- Awareness of business workflows and system interactions
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual testing)
- Awareness of functional testing and SDLC/STLC
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of tools like JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
- Good communication and willingness to learn
AI & Modern Testing Expectations
- Use AI tools for:
- Writing basic test cases and documentation
- Understanding requirements
- Willingness to learn automation and modern QA tools
- Exposure to API testing or SQL (basic level) is a plus
Experience & Qualification
- 0–1 year of experience (freshers can apply)
- Internship or project experience in testing preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
