Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IND AS/IFRS).
Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Costing & Inventory Management:
Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs including raw materials, labor, and overheads.
Work closely with the production team to understand BOM (Bill of Materials) and support cost optimization.
Ensure accurate valuation and control of inventory and WIP.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
Collaborate with various departments to monitor cost centers and profitability.
Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry norms.
Cash Flow & Treasury:
Monitor working capital requirements including receivables, payables, and cash flow forecasting.
Liaise with banks for fund management, credit facilities, and forex transactions.
ERP & Systems Management:
Maintain and improve ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle) for finance functions.
Support digital initiatives in finance and automation of reporting.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com, BBA); CA Inter or M.Com preferred.
3–8 years of experience in finance/accounts, preferably in the manufacturing or refractory sector.
Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, and cost accounting.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally).
Proficient in MS Excel and other financial tools.
