Position Overview:
As a Metallurgical Engineer Trainee, you will support the development, testing, and production of refractory materials. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to learn about material properties, processing techniques, and quality control in the refractory industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Material Analysis:
- Assist in the testing and analysis of raw materials and finished refractory products.
- Conduct experiments to evaluate material properties and performance.
- Process Improvement.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to identify areas for process optimization.
- Participate in the development of new refractory formulations and manufacturing processes.
Quality Control:
- Help monitor and ensure quality standards are met during production.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to material defects or failures.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, tests, and production processes.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations on findings.
Research and Development:
- Participate in R&D projects aimed at improving existing products and developing new materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in refractory technology.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and sales, to support product development and customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with material testing methods and laboratory equipment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
